SUCROCIDE

Sucrocide is a new product to treat Varroa Mite. It is made from Sucrose Octanoate Esters. You apply this chemical by spraying the complete frame of bees with the solution. In order for it to be effective against the Varroa Mite it must come in contact with them. You pull the affected frame from the hive and spray both sides of the frames with solution, wetting down the bees. You continue until all frames with affected bees have been sprayed. This needs to be done 3 times at 7-10 day intervals. A back pack sprayer or hand held sprayer can be used. There are some precautionary statements for humans and animals.

Note: Use of Sucrocide is at your own risk. No endorsement is made or implied by KVBA.
